The reproduction of colours can vary as there are many variables which can influence the final result. How the actual photo will turn out is dependent on such factors as the photo file, if the image has been adjusted in a photo editing program, and the information that the digital camera gives to the image.
We do our best to print a professional quality image, based on the actual photo file that has been uploaded to us.
Colour difference between two identical products
Even though both products with the same content may be ordered at the same time, it does not necessarily mean that they will be printed at the exact same moment. It is possible that both products are printed on different machines. This can lead to a very slight difference in colour.
Although we try and do everything possible to reduce any colour differences between photo products, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this.
Colour difference between cover and content
The photo cover is printed on a different printer than that used to print the inside of your photo book. There is also a difference in the type of paper that is used to print the cover, which is then laminated to protect it from scratches and damage.
Colour difference between your own prints and ours
The quality of the colours is influenced by the printing technique used, the ink, and the type of paper. All our products are printed on HP digital printers, using either HP Electroink (pigmented) or HP Latex ink. For optimal sharpness and vibrancy we recommend selecting a gloss finish.
