How do I personalise my calendar with specific events and Photodays?
You can make your calendar truly unique using our Photodays feature! For a small fixed add-on fee, you can personalise special dates throughout the year by adding your favourite photos directly onto specific calendar days - perfect for highlighting birthdays, anniversaries, or milestones.
The Events option is now situated on the left-hand side panel. In the mobile app, the feature is in the bottom menu.
From there, you can:
- Import saved events
- Add events
- Add a photo day
- Change the starting month/year
How to add a photo to a specific date:
- Open the Events tab from the left-hand panel (on the mobile app, find it in the bottom menu).
- Select Pick a date and click on the specific date you want to personalise. (Note: You must click Pick a date each time you want to add a photo—clicking directly on the calendar grid will not work.)
- Name the day (optional - note that text will take up space in the date grid).
- Enable the "Make it a photo day" option.
- Upload your photos or choose from previously uploaded images underneath. (Uploaded photos are saved so you can reuse them for other dates).
- Click the photo you want to add; it will automatically appear on that day.
- Adjust the photo positioning if needed, then click Save (or Change photo to pick a different one).
Important Notes:
- Pricing: You only pay a single fixed fee for the Photodays option regardless of how many photos you add across the year. The fee will show in your basket.
- Limits & Formatting: Only one photo can be placed per date. The date number remains visible in a contrasting colour, and auto image-enhancement is enabled by default.
- Enable per date: You need to toggle on the "Make it a photo day" option every time you pick a new date.
How do I change or remove a photo from a date?
To remove or update a photo:
- Open the Events / Photodays tab from the left-hand menu.
- Click Pick a date and select the date with the photo you wish to remove.
- Disable the "Make it a photo day" option (or click Remove photo). This will clear the photo from the grid.
How do I change the start date or month of my calendar?
You can easily adjust the starting month or year of your calendar directly from the left-hand side panel.
- Click on the “Events” to open up the panel
- The date setting option is at the very bottom of the events panel (you can adjust the month and the year of your calendar). In the mobile app, the feature is in the bottom menu.
Which calendar formats support Photodays?
Photodays can be added to select large calendars featuring box grids:
- A4 Portrait Wall
- A3 Portrait Wall
- A4 Double Wall
Note: Photodays are not available on Landscape (A3/A4) calendars or non-box timeline formats (including Desk, A5, Slim, Square, and Easel formats).
