What are the system requirements for your creator tools?

Android: The minimum required version is Android 6.0.0
Apple iOS: The minimum required version is iOS 13.6
Please note: When using older OS versions, you can still download our app, and you will simply get the latest version that supports your OS.
If you are using our old iPad app (version starting with '1.', for example, 1.4.8), it is not possible to order any more. This has not been supported since April 30, 2018. Projects created on the outdated app will need to be recreated in the new app.

What is the latest version of the Photobox UK creator tool? 

The creator tool works on:

Windows 10- 64-bit(1809) (buildnr: 10.0.17763)
Windows 11

Also, please note that for Windows 10 it is required to have the latest version of Microsoft Edge with IE mode. If that is all in order, our application should function properly.
Our creator tool cannot run on a Windows 10 S operating system.

The minimum requirements of your computer are:

• Processor (CPU): Intel Core i5 (8th Generation or newer) or AMD Ryzen 5 (3000 series or newer).

  • Note: A modern Quad-core processor is required to efficiently handle background rendering and multi-threaded tasks.

• Memory (RAM): 8GB RAM minimum.

  • For large projects or high-resolution photo books, 16GB RAM is highly recommended for optimal performance.

• Storage: SSD (Solid State Drive) with at least 10GB of free space.

  • An SSD is required for fast image loading and a responsive user interface.

• Operating System: Windows 11 or Windows 10 (64-bit, version 22H2 or newer).

• Display Resolution: 1280 x 800 pixels or higher (Recommended: 1920 x 1080 Full HD).

Unfortunately, our offline creator tool cannot be used on Chrome books or Linux computers and is no longer supported for Windows XP and Vista. We suggest using our online creator tool or app. 

• The minimum macOS is 11 (Big Sur), provides the latest version of our creator tool.

The online version of the photo book program works on any computer because this program works in your browser. We recommend that you use Edge or Google Chrome as a browser.

Why are Internet Explorer 11 and Safari 10 no longer supported? 

To change your screen resolution, please follow the steps below: 

1. Navigate to your desktop and click using your right mouse button. 

2. Select the option "Display settings". 

3. A new window will open and from here, navigate to "Advanced display settings". 

4. You should now see the screen resolution and can change it from here. Select an option that is 1024 x 768 pixels, or above. 

5. Click on "Apply". 

6. You should now be able to use the software.
