Text in Microsoft Word contains invisible formatting characters that are not valid in our editor. These formatting characters will be copied. This may have undesirable effects on the formatting of the text. To avoid this, you can copy the text into Notepad first, and then you will know for sure that the underlying encoding is gone.
Offline creator tool (Windows and Mac)
To insert text from a Word document or a Notepad document, please follow the instructions below:
1. Open your Word document and select the text you want in your book with the left mouse button.
2. Right-click on the selected text and select "Copy".
3. Open the offline creator tool and open your photo book.
4. Add a text placeholder on the page.
Windows: Go to "Edit" ▸ "Text" in the taskbar at the top of your screen.
Mac: Go to "New Text" in the taskbar.
5. Double-click on the text placeholder. This opens the text editing screen. Right-click in the text box. For Windows, click on "Edit", then "Paste". For Mac, click on "Paste".
Alternatively, you can paste the text in the text placeholder by clicking with your left mouse button on the text box and then press ctrl
+ v
(windows) or Cmd
+ v
(Mac) on your keyboard.
6. You can customise the text using the design features on the top menu bar, then click on "OK" to confirm your changes (Windows) or close the text box (Mac).
Online creator tool
1. Open your Word document and select the text you want in your book with the left mouse button.
2. Right-click on the selected text and select "Copy".
3. Open your photo book online.
4. Add a text box on the page via "Insert text".
