Windows editor:
Move pages:
There are different ways to move pages.
To move a double page:
- Highlight the double page thumbnail at the bottom part of the editor and drag it to the new position.
- OR click on the Move pages option in the top Book and page menu. This will ask you to select a new page position for your double page.
To move a single page:
Use the Switch Pages tool from the Book and page menu from the top. This allows you to exchange the content of one specific page with another page of your choice.
Mac editor
You can easily move pages using the Page Overview panel at the bottom of your editor screen:
- Ensure the Page Overview pane is visible at the bottom of the editor.
- Click on the thumbnail of the page or double-page spread you wish to relocate.
- Drag and drop the page thumbnail to its new position in the page sequence.
Can I swap or mirror the contents/layouts between two pages instead of moving whole pages?
Yes, you have a few options depending on what you want to achieve:
- Swap Content: Select two images across your spread and use the swap option to switch their positions.
- Mirror Layout: Go to Page > Mirror layout to mirror the layout on the same page.
- Mirror Layout to Other Page: Go to Page > Mirror layout to the other page to copy and reflect your layout across to the opposite side of the spread.
Why can't I see the page thumbnails at the bottom to drag them?
The Page Overview pane might be hidden to give you more workspace. You can toggle it back on via the menu by selecting View > Page overview.
Online editors
In an Online editor you can only move a double page. To do that, highlight the double page thumbnail at the bottom part of the editor and drag it to the new position.
From a single page, you can only move images but not the whole page.
To move image:
- click on the swap icon (crossed arrows)
- select a new placement for you image
Please note: For Windows Cut outs and Little Moments books created in our Online Simple editor, you can only move the images by dragging and dropping, not the pages.
App
You can only move the images by dragging and dropping them to a new position, but not the pages.
Alternatively, you can tap on the image, select "Swap" from the menu and then place it in a new position.
